le vent

Don't you love these crisp Autumn (almost couldnt remember how to spell this word) days.  Perfect temperature and a great day for loads of washing to be done with this gentle but dry wind.

We are due a house inspection soon so some extra cleaning and organisation are needed. A real bummer side of renting having some young twenty something in a too short of a skirt come in and inspect your private life and the way you live for their approval.

Sometimes getting caught up in "where is HOME".  Not quite sure where this is at the moment.

Little daily rituals help little ones though.  I know that we are home to him.

What is it about real estate and questionable sartorial choices?

What a sweet little poppet he is!

I always loathed house inspections too. Such an invasion of privacy. I liked to leave lingerie and tampons scattered everywhere just to make them a bit embarrassed about the whole thing.... but that could just be me!! x

Hi Jill,
Yes, I love and miss Autumn days, (gold coast, no seasons) one day I hope to be back where the seasons are. We also rented for years and I remember the inspections, I'd scrub, polish, vet, minimalise, fresh flowers...and all they need to see is that you are not putting holes in the walls or have 16 dogs inside! Renting allows you to know where you don't want to live or where you love to be. It helped me define what type of house I loved and the garden I could do.Home is where your baby and beloved are.
Have a good day,

Hi Jillian,
Autumnal days are lovely(down here in Melbourne though, it is grey, windy and rainy!) I do look forward to the golden light of Autumn and the crunch of leaves underfoot.

I love the fourth pic of Che...he looks like a little man on a mission!

Enjoy the sunshine and cherish the beautiful'home'you have created.
love Jude x
