thank you Mummy, that was a nice dinner

Truly that is what he said.  It made my day, after many times of inner turmoil about the volcanic process of dinner.  We are now adjusting to from being a family of five to one of four. Pulling in the drawstrings in a little closer.  But we are also moving house this weekend.  My now old boss said to me that "moving is like the chicken crossing the road, poultry in motion".

Happy weekend to you and than you for your kind words about Dan leaving us.  It really helps.

Linking in with Maxabella today.  It has been sometime, sorry Bron, I do cherish your space and your devotion to your readers.

A special thank you for Felicity.  What a gift you are to the blogosphere  Don't you agree.

I am forever grateful to have loved and be loved.  .

xx

What a lovely moment captured in time Jill - pure satisfaction.

I hope that the move is as seamless as it can be and that by Sunday evening you're feeling settled.

I'm getting a lot of "I don't like it" from my youngest at every meal time. Doesn't it make your heart sing when you get that compliment from out of the blue. Such beautiful words from your tiny man at such a young age. Bless. X

I love Felicity, she is amazing. Bless your Dan, losing a pet is heart wrenching & difficult, but an amazing life lesson for children. Beautiful Che will learn so much for the love & bonds from his first puppy experiences. We held it together when we had to put our first German Shepherd down, aged 11, ONLY animal our 4 children had ever known . . . until our 3rd girl ran up to Dadddy who came home from the vet with an empty lead in his hands, oh that image in my head (just like my father had done so many times in my childhood) she said "Daddy, you did the right thing" she was 6 & knew that our Jakob was comfortable now, as we let him go at the first hint of discomfort. We all had a good cry. Bless your caring family. Love Posie

Hello, so sorry to hear that your lovely dog Dan has passed away. It's hard.

I also do love hearing that the kids enjoyed dinner. There are some things that are firm favourites and my Mr12 is so good about making his enjoyment clear- bless him!

Hi Jill,

I realise that nothing will ever replace Dan but it seems that someone out there thought Che might need a sweet little toy to cuddle - you won the Steiner doll giveaway.

Let me know what colour hair you would like your little boy doll to have and email me your postal address - Tracie from Dragonfly Toys will send it to you this week.

Much love...hope you are settling in to your new abode xxx

Very sad to read about your dog Jill. Your little man though must take your sadness away- frankly all you need to get him to do is drop his own dirty clothes in the wash and you can consider this whole mothering gig sorted. melx
