oh, my baby is just learning, his attempts to cover his eyes usually result in him covering his cheekys, hilarious isn't it.
ReplyDeleteI guess peek-a-boo has a special magic to it as you'll find it in almost any culture. I grew up to a version we call in the Philippines "Eat, Bulaga"

ReplyDeleteJill, he is such a poppet! Peek a boo is a permanent fave in our house. I will be sad soon as my littlest is getting a bit too old for it... then I guess I'll only have my husband to play it with !(!) x
ReplyDeleteI always play peek a boo with little children i pass, i must have an animated face or my glasses, always get a smile, even from the shy ones, yet some mothers look at me in horror like it's demeaning. OMG, sorry, shally i recite Shakespeare instead & bore them?? Urgh, love your mothering style. Goodness, i still peek a boo my high schooler to crack a smile or give her a break from study, love it. ReplyDeleteOh just saw on Tai Tai blog you said you lived in Darwin for 5 years, we did too, on two postings for 6.5 years total & all 4 of our babies were born there. We used to use a crazy GP in Nightcliff, sure he's famous, barefoot in kaftans, the children would call him the witch doctor & he'd always say "you're so cute i'm going to eat them for dinner" lucky they're not scardy cats, he was bug eyed & loud.
