our danny boy - we were with you



A friend wrote to me that a song comes to mind. I had never heard of Gyote, but the song is beautiful and yes my Danny boy it is hard that you have left us.  Hard to let go.  Our animals are there to cherish.  Their patience and loyalty.  Their joy out of the simple things.  This is what they teach us.  Love you forever, Dan.

    Oh, Jill. They leave such a hole when they go. Loving an animal and being loved by one in return must be one of life's greatest pleasures. One day you'll be able to think of Dan without feeling sad. Think of it as one last gift he's yet to give you. It'll come. x

    Our dogs are such a big part of our lives, it's so very unfair that they don't live as long we do! I'm so sorry that you've had to say goodbye to your beloved hound. I still remember so fondly all the many dogs we had as I grew up, I'm sure your Che will hold many wonderful memories for years to come
